When we woke up on the morning of October 6th, 2012, we did not know we would be visiting Quassy Amusement Park that evening, for the last time in 2012. At about noon that day, we made a sudden decision to visit Quassy. We left at about 2:00 pm, and did not arrive to the park until about 3:00 pm. As it was our last time visiting Quassy for the year, we decided to get unlimited ride bracelets which were approximately $18 dollars.
Surprisingly, the park was extremely crowded, and it was the busiest we ever saw it. The majority of the population was mostly groups of small children, and their parents. First we went straight to ride the Wooden Warrior. The que line was completely filled, and we waited about 40 minutes to ride it! It was well worth the wait, as it was our friends first time riding it. After, we decided to do a few other rides in the park, including the Kiddie Coaster, Little Dipper.
We were then a bit hungry, so we decided to get a quick snack to eat. We got some popcorn and a pretzel, and ate it on line for the Wooden Warrior, to help pass time. Then the wait was about 30 minuets, and we rode it in the back row. After, we rode a few more rides in the park, including the Classic Yo-Yo.
It was already 5:30 pm, and we decided we wanted to head home. Before we left however, we had to get one last ride on the Wooden Warrior. After, we left Quassy realizing our next visit will not be until 2013. Our quick day at Quassy was very fun. It turned our to be a quite expensive trip, for only riding a few rides in a few hours. Nevertheless, it was a great time, and we cant wait to visit Quassy to ride Wooden Warrior in 2013!
